Twenty years ago 4 of the most famous graffiti artists -CRASH, QUIK, NOC167 and BILL BLAST   - allowed for a ONE TIME limited edition print of 4 of their historical new york graffiti masterworks from the eighties.

Only 2.500 reproductions per masterwork were allowed and printed. Few of them are left today.

 

Today we proudly present to you the re-release of these Unique and Rare Vintage Graffiti Art Posters.

 

It is one of the very few series of reproductions of New York Graffiti Artworks from the eighties ever produced.

The posters represent historical graffiti paintings from the hightime of New York Graffiti Art.
The artists played an important role in the development of the New York Graffiti Art Movement during the 1970’s and the 1980’s.
The masterworks mark a significant moment in the development of the artists and the Graffiti Art Movement as a whole, while in the eighties Graffiti Writers started to further evolve their work from the subways into the New York galleries and European museums. 

The original paintings have all been part of the famous large New York Graffiti exhibitions during the 1980’s and 1990’s in the Köln Ludwig Museum, the Rotterdam Boymans van Beuningen Museum, the Kopenhagen Louisiana Museum, The Groninger Museum and many others and are covered in the various catalogues from those exhibitions.

About the Limited Edition Posters

The posters were masterfully printed in 1988 in a limited edition of 2.500 (only few are left today). The posters are in full colour on 32"x48" sized heavy quality (250 gr.) semi-gloss Platyn Silk paper.

They are reproductions of the following New York Graffiti Art Masterworks:
